Menstruation is a normal physiological phenomenon in women, but it is often shrouded in mystery and shame.
This project aims to change this ingrained social perception, lifting the veil that hides menstruation within societal norms, and exploring and showcasing the true and natural beauty of menstruation.
For the “lifting the veil” concept, the outer packaging box uses transparent frosted PET material, allowing the separately packed bright red sanitary pads to be fully displayed to the public. Because they are in plain sight, they are treated like any other sanitary product, eliminating any sense of shame. The separate inner packaging of the sanitary pads features 10 different tips for alleviating menstrual discomfort.
